Experience:

Although Francesca is in more of a senior management role these days, her career history is one of being an experienced and qualified Therapeutic Counselling Practitioner trained in the UK, in addition she has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with a background in mental health and learning disability services, working in the NHS and the private sector. Francesca covered many areas of therapeutic expertise, focusing on the empowerment of the person centered approach. She has held a senior management position for the last 8 years of which 6 years or that has been here in the UAE. Throughout her 20 year career, she has worked with and developed the needs of individuals and families from various backgrounds. She has also managed departments in Hospitals and developed services for school health in the community. She has set up and managed 2 centers and a branch relating to children’s health services here in the UAE.

Personal interests:

Francesca is a mother of 5, one of which is on the Autism Spectrum and the other Downs Syndrome (Sadly passed). So she has been on both sides of the fence when it comes to experiences with children that have additional needs. She loves to read, swim and would like one day to do more traveling, but has a real passion for cars and motorbike.
