EXPERIENCE:
As a 2003 graduate from University of Pretoria, I’ve worked in the field of Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology with both children and the elderly. I have also worked with hearing-impaired individuals conducting hearing tests and fitting hearing aids. My experience with children, includes working in a hospital setting, private clinics, community outreach programs as well as schools, enjoying working collaboratively with other therapists to provide a more holistic approach for children and their families. My approach is versatile and dynamic and I prefer keeping my sessions more interactive and fluid with play, games, and music. My focus is not only on my clients, but also on developing and empowering their parents, families, and teachers on effectively developing the skills of the child.
PERSONAL INTERESTS:
I love listening to music, playing guitar, being on the beach, cycling, learning languages, swimming and of course, the South African in me loves a good ‘braai’ (barbeque).
