Francesca is a seasoned healthcare professional with a BA background as a therapeutic counselling practitioner. Her background spans over two decades in mental health and learning disability services across the UK NHS & private sector, and UAE private sector.
Her leadership is rooted in a person-centred, empowering model, prioritising collaboration over hierarchy and cultivating strong, compassionate teams. Since 2009, Francesca has held senior management roles, blending clinical insight with strategic leadership.
Francesca’s UAE journey began in Ras Al Khaimah, where she set up and led a pioneering school health department under RAK Hospital. This initiative included developing school-based preventive health programmes and collaborating with high-level government, education, and healthcare stakeholders.
In 2014, she was appointed to establish Sensation Station – a multidisciplinary therapy and intervention centre – and continues to lead its growth and owners vision. Francesca also contributed to the founding and pre-operational setup of a leading inclusive British curriculum school in Dubai, supporting recruitment of senior founding leaders, facility planning & development.
At her core, Francesca is a mother and advocate. Her lived experience as a neurodivergent woman – diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in childhood – and as a parent to neurodivergent children, including a son with Down Syndrome (deceased), is what drives her passion for inclusive, compassionate services.
Her interests include law, travel, and DIY.
