Campaign raises awareness on speech-language challenges in pre-schoolers
The British Orchard Nursery has launched an awareness drive focusing on speech and language challenges in young children. The drive aims to help parents identify child-related issues, focusing on the various speech developmental milestones from birth to five years.
The nursery will carry out these sessions across all its other 14 branches over the next few months to provide guidance, continuous education and help parents of pre-schoolers raise their little ones in an effective manner.
The campaign is launched in collaboration with Sensation Station, a sensory gym and language centre for children and encourages parents to seek intervention if they have any concerns about their child, particularly in the early years when intervention is proven to be the most beneficial time to support future development.

Over the last few months, Sensation Station has presented at several Coffee Mornings to parents about Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Therapy, in addition to conducting child-screening sessions, to help Parents and Nursery staff identify areas of concern and when it would be appropriate to consider early intervention for their child. We like to thank in particular the SENCO at the British Orchard Nursery group for their continued collaboration.
