Orla is a Specialist Occupational Therapist, registered with both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). She’s also a proud member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). Orla studied at Ulster University in Northern Ireland and has completed the first module of a Master’s program in Ayres Sensory Integration. With nearly eight years of experience, six of which have been focused on working with children, Orla brings a wealth of expertise. She has worked with the Special Schools Service in Belfast, gaining experience in prescribing specialist wheelchairs, seating, and splinting. She also supports children in achieving their fine and gross motor goals. Orla has a particular interest in working with autistic and neurodivergent children and their families. She’s passionate about advocating for neuroinclusion and using neuroaffirmative therapy approaches. Her goal is to help children reach their potential through play and meaningful activities.
