After her baccalaureate degree, Ivory pursued working in the Philippine government under the social welfare sector and did various social work activities to help address the country’s poverty problem. She focused on implementing and monitoring livelihood programs providing long-term employment and small-enterprise opportunities to the program’s identified beneficiaries, the poorest of the poor. She considers it not as a job, but as a noble profession. As she came from a small family, she became fond of working with many people and keeps a soft spot for children.

She moved to Dubai in 2019 to be with her husband and worked in the private sector as customer and admin support. Second half of 2021 is a great time for her as she was able to realign herself back to the good cause of serving the people she loves, children.
