Summer Group Classes for July and August 2016
Music and Movement
Age Group: 7 to 9 years
Max seven children per class
A variety of fun games and activities to build social and rhythmic skills to develop social skills, facilitates cooperation through pair and small group work, develop creative skills, improve listening, waiting and turn taking, provides opportunities for both leading and following, improve coordination and rhythm in gross motor skills and increasing confidence.

Gross Motor Skills
To encourage development of large muscle groups, help improve overall body strength, endurance, balance, coordination and posture control.
Ages 4 to 7 years
Fine Motor Skills and Handwriting
To encourage the development of hand muscles, help improve small object manipulation, pencil grip and pencil control, with a focus on handwriting.
Ages 5 to 7 years
Visual Perception Skills
To encourage the brain’s ability to make sense of what the eye sees, help children to spot the difference, find the object by feeling (memory recall), identify mistakes in written and drawn material.

Speech Language Therapy
Early Language Development
Ideal for late talkers to develop expressive and receptive language through play-based activities focused around themes, develop attention and listening skills. The use of Makaton Signs facilitates learning and development. Parents and nannies are welcome to attend and learn strategies.
Language Auditory Processing
Ideal for children who have difficulties following verbal instruction, word-finding difficulties and/or organising their sentences.
Social Skills
To improve children’s skills to converse socially with peers, friends, siblings and adults, greeting others and initiate conversation, maintaining a topic of conversation, eye contact and body language, non-verbal communication, social problem solving, social emotional skills, social cognition and reciprocation, initiating play and joining others in play, turn taking and sharing.
Sensory Stories
A fun and engaging way exploring stories in an interactive sensory and explorative way to develop and improve; receptive/expressive vocabulary/language, attention/listening, turn-taking and waiting, social interaction, functional communication, understanding of concepts, choice-making, sequencing/early matching skills, motor imitation skills.

Fees
AED250 per session
Book three or more session per week and get an AED50 discount and pay only AED200 per session. Each session is 45 minutes. Parents can pick and choose any group that they would like their children to attend.
No walk-ins. Participation on appointment basis only and subject to screener. Age group can be reviewed on a case by case basis.
