The British Orchard Nursery has launched an awareness drive focusing on speech and language challenges in young children. The drive aims to help parents identify child-related issues, focusing on the various speech developmental milestones of pre-schoolers. The campaign is launched in collaboration with Sensation Station.
Over the last few months, Sensation Station has presented at several Coffee Mornings to parents about Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Therapy, in addition to conducting child-screening sessions, to help Parents, School and Nursery staff identify areas of concern and when it would be appropriate to consider early intervention for their child.
