Rawan is a bilingual (Arabic/English) speaking Inclusion Coordinator with her qualifications in Therapeutic Recreation from Canada. After completing her degree and working in the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center (Halifax, Canada) with a variety of rehabilitation populations, her dream was to bring this new and intriguing field to the Middle East in order to help persons with special needs and their families. Rawan believes, that with the proper support, it is possible for persons with special needs to reach their highest potential and to experience joyful participation in all areas of life. Rawan has been involved in working with children with developmental disabilities, mainstream school children and children in refugee camps using to help improve their physical, cognitive, social and emotional well-being. Rawan uses her skills, experience and background as a Recreational Therapist to aid her role as a dedicated Inclusion Coordinator.
Rawan enjoys Hiking, Swing dancing and Tai Chi in her spare time.
