SUMMARY:Parent coffee morning 'An introduction to Mindful Parenting'
DESCRIPTION:TUESDAY\, 26th MARCH 2019\, 9AM-10AM @ SENSATION STATION\nGuest Talk presented by Joanne Jewell from Mindful Parenting.\nAn introduction to Mindful Parenting\, focusing on what it is and how this evidence based approach to parenting provides an environment where co-operation and calm can thrive. \nJoanne Jewell\nParent Counsellor and Founder  \nI have been working as a child\, adolescent and family counsellor for the last 15 years in both the UK and the UAE.  I loved working with both children and teenagers but as a parent myself I noticed that there was a real lack of hands-on support for parents in the UAE.  I’ve been an expat here for almost a decade and having raised three children during that time\, I often found it a lonely and confusing experience – I missed the support of family and friends who knew both me and my children and sometimes found it difficult to share my parenting experiences with new friends\, amazing as they were. \n“Wisdom says we are nothing. Love says we are everything. Between these two our life flows.” \n– Jack Kornfield \nLooking forward to seeing you all! \n\nPlease confirm your attendance: info@sensationstation.ae \nTel: 04 277 6769
