Aileen graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Bohol in the Philippines. Prior moving to the UAE, Aileen has been a stay-home mother looking after her family. In 2012 she joined her husband here in Dubai and soon after, started working at Cherry Town Nursery in Al Barsha as a Teaching Assistant. Over the next two years she developed her professional skills and experienced, working with primary school aged children. She assisted the teachers and students with the play sessions, arts & crafts projects and other daily activities. Aileen now supports the clinical team and therapist with the appropriate preparation of resources, learning, therapeutic and creative activities of the children. She assists with the in-house Early Learning and Intervention Program (EILP) including planning and supervising activities such as arts, crafts and music, helping the children to learn number skills through play activities and counting games, reading stories, helping children to learn how to dress and using cutlery. She is keeping a watchful eye over the children ensuring that they are safe and having fun.
Aileen is a mother and her daughter is almost all grown up now. When not at work, she enjoys swimming, singing, dancing and she is also an excellent cook.
